Dear Tibetan Community member,

Tashi Deleg and very warm greetings!

We hope you and your family are all very blessed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama especially during the Special Audience at the Indigo @ O2. We thank His Holiness for the very generous time. You can now watch the special audience on our community website.

Today, we are delighted to invite you to our 45th Annual General Meeting. The AGM will now take place at the Aubert Court Community Centre in north London and it starts at 6pm promptly on Saturday 17th October.

The forthcoming AGM will see the incumbent council members reporting on the progress made over the past year to community members (the electorates) and we will further share our future plans for the remaining term in office until September 2016. We assumed the roles and responsibilities of running TCB’s affairs in September 2014.

We welcome your feedback, suggestions and thoughts on the past year’s activities and also on how we can move forward and develop TCB.

We will also take advantage of this community annual meeting to seek consultation on the proposed amendments to the Draft TCB Constitution, compiled by a special Committee, which is comprised of four former TCB Chairpersons. So, we encourage your participation.

As the day coincides with the 8th Anniversary of the US Congressional Gold Medal Awarded to His Holiness the Dalai Lama, we will celebrate the happy occasion with Gorshey and delicious hot meal.

Oh yes, we also welcome volunteers to help us on the day. Finally, we look forward to seeing many of our community members!

Thuk-je-che – Thank you!
