25th Anniversary of the Awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama
Saturday, 6th December 2014 from 4 till 11.30pm (Programme starts at 5pm)
25th Anniversary of the Awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama
A special event organised by Tibetan Community in Britain in honour of His Holiness the Dalai Lama
His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s massive contribution beyond the Tibetan Plateau is well documented from promotion of human values and inter-faith religious harmony to the scientific community for the betterment of human society based on ethics.
As a result, earlier this year, the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) in Dharamsala announced 2014 as the Year of Dalai Lama. This year also marks the 25th Anniversary of the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
We are very delighted to host this special event for our community members, admirers of Dalai Lama and friends of Tibet. Our 1980s theme with ‘surprises’ lined-up promises to bring fun and joy to our members and friends while remembering our gratitude for the unwavering compassionate leadership of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
