Dear All,
Please find enclosed herewith an important circular from the Central Tibetan Administration’s Department of Religion & Culture, of April 2015, calling upon Tibetans to individually accumulate the recitation of Mani and select Mantras (enclosed as a separate sheet) from now on (i.e., today) until the end of the holy month of Saka Dawa. This is to earn merit for the common cause – Tibet.
For your information: This year’s Saka Dawa begins May 19, 2015 and ends June 16, 2015 (as per Tibetan calendar).
With this in mind, the Office of Tibet, (London) and the Tibetan Community in Britain are jointly organizing a prayer gathering for our members at Jamyang Buddhist Centre on Sunday 7th of June from 2pm to 6pm. We will collect a total count of mantras recited then. If you are unable to come to Jamyang, indeed you may send us your count of mantras recited at home (or anywhere else) and we will then add it to the total to be submitted to the Office of Tibet by June 30th.
