TCB UK North Association Annual Family Picnic

Apologies, we have had to change the PayPal links due to a small technical problem.  Therefore, all those who have not already purchased tickets, please use the new below links.

TCB UK North Association is proud to host this year’s 3rd summer picnic (Lingar). It gives us tremendous pleasure to announce that this year’s annual picnic will be held again in the North of England, in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

This hotly anticipated event is bound to sell out fast, so make sure you get your tickets in plenty of time, because when they’re gone they’re gone!

All tickets must be bought in advance and tickets will be on sale from 5th June to 31st July 2019, no admission will be allowed on the day without having pre-booked and paid in full.

The location we have secured is easily commutable from London Kings Cross or via motorway. It is based in Yorkshire – the country’s largest county and borders the peak district.  So for those in London why not get out of the smog and get some good country air in your lungs, enjoy good Tibetan food and meet with other Tibetans from around the UK.

We are very excited about this camp site and its facilities – it caters for all, those wanting to stay in dormitories and those wanting to pitch tents.  It also has large cooking facilities, plenty of showers and toilets and disabled access throughout. We also have a lovely onsite bar for those wishing to have a tipple or two in the evening.

Here are the details of the event:

When: 12pm Saturday 24th August to 12pm Monday 26th August – Should London visitors wish to arrive on the Friday to pitch tents that is allowed however, no kitchen facility available. Please note there are plenty of shops within walking distance.

If you want to attend this picnic, please click on the links and book the relevant tickets, also please clearly state if you are a vegetarian so we can cater for your needs.

The maximum capacity for dormitory accommodation is 40 and is based on 2 people per room across 20 rooms.  Therefore, these will be assigned on a first come first served basis.  Therefore, if you have a young family we suggest booking quickly as we expect these to go fast – especially with the changeable UK weather.

*Please ensure that you book for all members in your party in one booking and clearly enter your full name that you usually use to help with administration.  Please do not book tickets for others that are not in the same room / party as you.*

Your support for this event will enable us to make this an annual tradition again.

Kind Regards
